Full-Time | Days, Monday–Friday | $112K+

Centurion, a leading provider of healthcare services for the Georgia Department of Corrections, is seeking an experienced Health Services Administrator (HSA) to oversee medical operations at Phillips State Prison in Buford, GA.

About the Facility

Phillips State Prison is a close-security, adult male facility with a capacity of 900+ beds, offering on-site primary care, dental, and mental health services, including crisis stabilization. The campus also includes the Phillips Transitional Center, supporting reentry programs. You’ll lead a dedicated, multidisciplinary healthcare team that provides high-quality, coordinated care in collaboration with custody and facility leadership.

The Role

The HSA oversees all on-site healthcare operations, ensuring compliance, patient safety, and clinical excellence across medical, dental, and behavioral health services. You’ll manage staffing, budgets, and audits while partnering closely with the Warden’s office, GDC Health Services, and Centurion leadership to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospital or Health Care Administration, Health and Human Services, Business or Public Administration, Nursing, or related field

  • Progressive leadership experience in healthcare, nursing home, or mental health administration; nurse management; or multi-specialty clinical operations

  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred

  • Strong background in operations management, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement

  • Skilled communicator—able to partner effectively with both clinical and custody staff

  • Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
