CTG is seeking to fill a DevOps Engineer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools.
Administer GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) including upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimization.
Automate workflows and integrate APIs using scripting languages (Python, Java) and GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs.
Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments (GH Cloud, GCP).
Apply DevOps security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Skills:
Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN) and CI/CD expertise
Kubernetes and Docker containerization
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Java, Terraform, Ansible)
GHES administration including self-hosted runners and microservices architecture
Cloud expertise (GH Cloud, GCP) and DevOps security practices
Experience:
7+ years in GHES administration with deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and microservices architecture.
Proven experience in scripting, API integration, automation, and cloud/container management.
Hands-on experience in upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and service optimization.
Education:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
