These are just some of the reasons we were just named a Top Firm to Work for by Zweig!WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: You will independently manage civil infrastructure projects with a focus on municipal water and wastewater systems. You will oversee project design, QA/QC, financial performance, and staff, while working closely with senior leaders on additional projects. This role also includes supporting business development and strategic initiatives for your team.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
- Manage multi-disciplined municipal infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Ensure the completion of QA/QC processes on all projects.
- Oversee all project financials and task assignments.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding project progress and expectations.
- Prepare proposals and support business development efforts.
- Supervise and manage technical staff, including development and performance management.
- Assist with executing the strategic sales plan for your team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other discipline-specific software.
- Familiarity with company CAD and design standards.
- Strong understanding of project financials, QA/QC, and municipal infrastructure requirements.
SKILLS:
- Ability to manage multi-discipline projects and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and municipal infrastructure.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of civil engineering experience.
- 6+ years of civil design experience.
- 2+ years as a licensed P.E. or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- 1+ year of project task management, including financial oversight.
- 0–2 years of supervisory and business development experience.
- Emphasis on municipal water and wastewater project experience.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas.
