The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of multi-channel acquisition activity across PPC, affiliates, display, YouTube, and paid social.
What does the role involve?
- Manage the planning and delivery of digital marketing activity across UK markets.
- Build clear promotional and non-promotional campaign plans, aligned with business trading priorities.
- Plan, forecast, and manage spend across digital marketing channels (PPC, Paid Social, Display, YouTube, Affiliates) to maximise return on investment.
- Track and understand omnichannel performance KPIs, with specific focus on driving both online conversion and in-store footfall.
- Be accountable for performance monitoring, optimisation, and ensuring all spend drives measurable value.
- Ensure key projects are being driven forward in PPC, Paid Social, Display, YouTube, and Affiliates.
- Work with agencies and partners to deliver high-quality execution and continuous optimisation.
- Identify new opportunities for growth, testing new platforms, formats, and targeting approaches.
- Ensure all campaigns and creative executions align with brand guidelines and are delivered to a professional standard.
- Collaborate with Ecommerce, Marketing, and agency teams to integrate campaigns into wider omnichannel plans.
- Maintain a test-and-learn approach, providing regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders to improve ROI and drive down CPA.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven track record in performance marketing management (4+ years), ideally within ecommerce or retail.
- Hands-on experience and working knowledge of Google Analytics, SA360, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel KPIs, with experience in driving footfall as well as online performance.
- Experience in building promotional and non-promotional campaign plans.
- Commercially minded, with proven budget planning, allocation, and forecasting experience.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritise effectively, and work to tight deadlines.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital performance marketing.
- Experience collaborating with agencies and cross-functional in-house teams.
- Retail, ecommerce, or furniture/home sector experience highly desirable.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and keep stakeholders updated.
