Rolls-Royce has got an exciting opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager in Rolls-Royce Submarines. In this role, you will provide profession PM and Business Management leadership and direction to the Director E&T and their function to deliver the business growth strategy for RRSL and enable exemplary whole-business performance.

What you’ll be doing:
Be a fully active member of the E&T Function first line team, providing strategic direction and enthusiasm to all E&T activities within the function and across the RRSL business
Provide Programme Management discipline and control to all aspects of E&T Function activities
Drive programme control and adherence for major cross-business engineering improvements that are led from within the E&T Function
Provide integration with other functions within RRSL and, where appropriate, with other parts of the Rolls-Royce group or external customer/partner agencies
Own and implement the E&T Function Operating Model - in concert with the Submarines Operating Model
Responsible for providing accurate programme and business information and reporting to support the E&T Function Business Review, escalation into the Operating Committee and, in supporting the E&T Director in preparation for RRSL Exec Performance Committee
Proactively analyse all aspects of business operations and provides insights and actions on improvement and delivery across various themes and enablers
On behalf of the Function, coordinate the definition and execution of Key Function Enablers (KFEs), Growth Enabling Milestones (GEMs) and functional contribution to Critical Milestones
Support the Head of Engineering Capability, Head of Engineering Operations and Head of Engineering Strategy with efficient execution of their respective responsibilities - working with the RRSL Portfolio Office, other RRSL Functions and ET&S as needed

Proven experience in the governance and management of projects and / or programmes / portfolio of increasing complexity
Member of a professional body and working towards RPP (Recognised Project Professional) qualification or equivalent
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management
Experience of business systems and translating data into executive briefing

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
