As a member of the Project Management Office and leading an Implementation Team, the Project Manager will manage the project lifecycle and implementation of solutions to our valued customers.  The successful candidate will have experience managing medium to large projects using an agile methodology.  Responsibilities include staying attuned with the details of day-to-day operations, ability to understand and drive toward the big picture, and provide guidance to clients and internal team members throughout projects.  You strive to exceed customer expectations and have a proven track record for building strong, collaborative relationships.  You also have superior communication skills and excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining project scope, goals and deliverables for client implementations.
  • Develop agile project plans and track progress throughout the project life cycle.
  • Collaborate internally with management to identify appropriate resources needed per initiative.
  • Coordinate project activities with stakeholders.
  • Manage scope, issues and risks, and escalation to leadership as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain project management best practices, processes, and tools within the PMO.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards across all projects.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Manage a tight change control process to ensure project scope is delivered as expected.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including internal business partners on an ongoing basis to manage expectations surrounding project scope, deliverables, resources, schedule and cost.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are engaged and committed during the project life cycle.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, senior management and clients through routine status reports and meetings.
  • Engage and manage internal and client stakeholders across regions where the implementation project involves multiple countries as a part of global / regional rollout.
  • Initiate and maintain issue logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks. 
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the project.
  • Manage the day to day relationship with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope.
  • Identify opportunities for, and contribute to, project management process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Management team to create comprehensive statements of work (SOW) with clear payment terms and deliverables
  • Identify and assess SI partners and third-party contractors who can augment as functional or technical resources for project implementations.
  • Collaborate in the creation of the statement of work for SIs and partners to ensure the scope of work, the delivery process and the artefacts for delivery are documented appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the finance, customer success, partnerships and commercial teams on building and managing relationships with the SI partners as well as contractors.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize partner agreements and assess billing rates, margins, costs and other aspects associated with project finance or resource augmentation.

Requirements

·       8+ years of Project Management experience, delivering medium to large scale solutions.

·       Understanding of Pharmaceutical industry, especially in commercial data management and analytics.

·       Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

·       Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

·       Experience developing detailed project plans using agile methodology is preferred.

·       Ability to manage concurrent projects to completion with aggressive schedules and managing multiple stakeholders.

·       Experience in managing project requirements using JIRA and Confluence.

·       Demonstrates a sense of urgency and does not wait to escalate issues.

·       Strong creative, analytical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.

·       Experience using Azure DevOps and is a plus.

·       Experience implementing CRM systems such as Dynamics 365, IQVIA, Veeva or Salesforce .

·       Supports and maintains a positive attitude and vision with clients and team members.

·       Project Management Certification preferred.

·       Education: B.E. Computer Science, MCA or Equivalent, MBA qualification will be an asset.

Other Requirements / Working Conditions

  1. This position may require travel to customer and non-customer sites globally.
  2. Participation in client and internal calls may be necessary outside of regular business hours.
