Summary – basic function of the role

As a Workshop Technician at Hydratight, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and modifying our high-quality industrial tools. You ensure every product meets our exacting standards for quality, performance, and safety.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and organizing assembly tasks;
  • Assembling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical components;
  • Performing tests, adjustments, and calibrations;
  • Identifying and reporting issues to the team leader;
  • Conducting troubleshooting and implementing modifications;
  • Following all health, safety, and quality procedures;

Skills and Competencies

  • You are a hands-on and detail-oriented technician with a passion for precision engineering and teamwork;
  • Technical education), preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Hydraulics;
  • Proven experience in assembly or workshop environments. Hydraulics are a plus;
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems (preferred);
  • Experience with machine tools (conventional milling and lathe machines, drilling machines and CNC machines) is a plus, otherwise the willingness to learn;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Good command of German (English is a plus);
  • A safety-conscious, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
