The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic self-starter and change engagement expert to play a pivotal role in supporting a significant change programme across our organisation. 

You'll shape and share the stories behind out biggest transformations, developing and delivering communications plans across multiple complimentary initiatives and key projects. Through creative strategies and compelling content, you’ll keep colleagues engaged and informed about the exciting times ahead. 

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The Person

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Work with change, comms and tech colleagues to design and deliver clear, consistent and aligned communication and engagement strategies for significant change initiative 

  • Develop communication strategies and plans to reflect different change phases tailoring messaging for different audiences across functions and roles and channels 

  • Identify and support change champions and agent networks. 

  • Partner with project teams and change champions to roll out campaigns during key project phases 

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key business partners and leaders, providing strategic bespoke communication advice on embedding change in different business areas 

  • Coordinate activity with internal stakeholders and external partners. 

  • Track and report on adoption metrics and change effectiveness, capturing colleague feedback to support the evolution of our communication approach as the programme progresses. 

  • Use evidence to advise the programme team on messaging, audience targeting and channels to achieve desired results 

  • Work closely with the wider Internal Communications team to ensure messaging is joined up and aligned to our purpose, Operating Strategy and values 

To succeed in this role, we think you’ll need 

  • Solid hands-on work experience in employee change communications gained in a large-scale programme and ideally supporting transformational initiatives / cultural change within financial/professional services or technology.  

  • Demonstrable success in delivering effective communications in complex change environments 

  • Strong written skills, with the ability to simplify the complex and tailor content for different purposes, making it relevant to different audiences, and for delivery across a variety of channels  

  • Excellent verbal communication skills; confident and engaging, with strong presentation skills 

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 

  • Experience in building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, technical SMEs, project teams and colleagues across all levels. 

  • A keen sense of integrity and personal ownership while maintaining a collaborative, supportive and team-focused working style and deep belief that we succeed together. 

  • A collaborative and empathetic approach – sensitive to the people side of change and able to win hearts and minds. 

  • Experience in developing and tracking SMART KPIs for communication initiatives and using data and feedback to improve communications approaches.
