We have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join out Investment IT Operations Team on a permanent basis based in the London office (hybrid based).

The role
This role will be mostly aligned to supporting our front office Order Management System (Charles River). The remaining time will be spent concentrating on other investment applications, process improvement, upgrades and change projects. This role is accountable for supporting the investment business and related functions by providing support, quality data, reliable and stable systems for Investment business so they can perform their roles to secure our members future. You will build a trusted relationship and become the go to person for resolution by ensuring any trading issues are troubleshooted and resolved quickly and efficiently.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The person
We are looking for a Senior IT Ops Analyst who specialises in Charles River to work inside the Investment IT Operations function at Railpen. The successful candidate will have experience of working in Investment Management, as part of a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, with significant production support experience to meet the varied requirements of our Investment Business. The role will require someone from a technical background, who has experience with supporting Charles River IMS, investment data and working knowledge of the FIX protocol. Experience of Microsoft SQL Server would be a distinct advantage, however this isn’t essential.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering high quality service and enjoys resolving complex application and technical problems. You will have an ability to balance priorities, achieve deadlines and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, patience and listening skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. As a Senior Application Support Analyst it’s imperative to understand the importance of taking a collaborative approach to tasks to ensure best solutions and knowledge sharing.
