A Day in the Life
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They are able to partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and run and optimize operations.The Business Process Analyst will join project teams to support hospitals in executing transformational initiatives. In this role, you will enhance existing services and develop new ones to expand coverage across more diseases. Success will depend on your ability to efficiently manage projects using the Medtronic Project Management Tool Planisware by establishing baseline plans, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely, customer-focused delivery. This is a remote role but based in Barcelona (Spain) with a willingness to travels if needed.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Collaborate with different capabilities, business units and other technological partners to develop new service components for patient-oriented services
- Apply differentiated and efficient communication throughout the team & hospitals
- Apply, support and motivate hospital staff efficiently on the project
- Ensure customer engagement and execution, manage expectations and create alignment throughout planning and execution phases
- You offer a high-quality information level within the team and main stakeholders that is crisp, clear and timely
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- University degree in a relevant field, preferably engineering or science degree
- English and Catalan fluency required. Other languages such as Portuguese would be nice to have
- Experience, at least 2 years, managing complex projects in the health care field, preferably within a clinical setting
- You have worked with distributed and global virtual teams and have used a range of options to get the right fit to the needs
- Strong communication, information and people management skills - always with customer and patient focus
- You can work with multiple projects and tasks and understand and add priorities
- You can execute plans, access the situation, information and risks, and plan your execution hereafter perform and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). You will measure performance against process requirements
