The primary responsibility of the Senior Field Support Manager (Execution Planning) is to design and define all aspects of trade execution plans to ensure the smooth implementation and execution of channel strategies. This role involves developing launch plans, establishing timelines, aligning communication strategies, setting targets, and ensuring that selling tools and resources are ready for all sales and distribution initiatives.
The Senior Field Support Manager will oversee a cross-functional team comprising Trade Marketing, Field Support, Trade Finance, Sales, and IT to successfully deliver Field Support projects that empower the Sales and Distribution teams across the United States. Additionally, they are accountable for managing all Off-Premise Sales promotional activities and programming.
Job Description:LEAD TRADE EXECUTION PLANNING
Lead the execution planning for all national sales and distribution initiatives and strategies to ensure their successful adoption, implementation, and execution by field sales teams and Red Bull’s distribution network.
Develop launch plans, set timelines, and establish targets for sales initiatives in collaboration with sales channel leads.
Develop and lead strategies for the creation, communication, implementation, and adoption of all assigned Field Force-related initiatives nationwide.
Coordinate contributions from each department to guarantee that Key Account teams can effectively sell programs to retail partners and Distribution Teams can efficiently execute them in stores.
Oversee timeline planning, including supply chain requirements and trade marketing needs.
Provide support for Key Accounts on execution planning, budgets, project timelines, and overall operationalization of cooler rollout projects at the front end.
Act as project manager for custom transitions associated with REACH.
Establish processes and standard operating procedures between Channel Leads and Field Support teams to ensure timely adoption and implementation of channel strategies.
CROSS FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT
Lead a cross-functional team responsible for implementing sales strategies and initiatives, including Sales, Brand Marketing, Trade Finance, Trade Marketing, Distribution, Training, and Operations.
Collaborate with the Category Team on annual planograms and assess their impact on independent resets.
Serve as Project Manager for all field support plans.
Maintain strong alignment with RBNA Distribution and Key Account leadership, ensuring effective communication between SAMO, BU, and Field Sales through collaborative input.
Coordinate with Shared Services stakeholders (e.g., Finance, IT, Legal) to align on program costs, ROI, and implementation, while obtaining guidance on financial and legal requirements.
KEY ACCOUNT PROGRAMMING SUPPORT
Serves as the primary point of contact for channel leads regarding planning and launching sales initiatives.
Offers guidance and support to Large Format, Small Format, and Specialty Retail key account teams to interpret and implement national programs within the distribution network.
Collaborates with Key Account teams to establish targets, set goals, and develop distributor-facing materials and Key Account sales tools for program execution.
Coordinates contributions from various RBNA departments to ensure Key Account teams succeed in selling the program to retail partners and Distribution Teams effectively execute it in-store.
NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH STRATEGY
Collaborates with the Brand Marketing team to execute all new product launches.
Oversees logistics, allocation, POS planning, planogram development, and sales tools for an efficient launch through the distribution network.
Leads a cross-functional team to ensure the successful introduction of new products.
LEADERSHIP, COACHING & DEVELOPMENT
Lead the team responsible for planning the execution of retail programs and sales and distribution initiatives.
Enhance their skills and abilities in collaborating effectively across internal and external functions.
Develop processes and provide recommendations to grow the department, ensuring scalability in execution planning.
Promote career development for the entire team by providing timely, specific, and direct feedback, along with consistent coaching.
Qualifications:EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & EDUCATION (IF APPLICABLE) REQUIRED
Extensive sales and distribution experience with a proven track record in the Consumer Goods industry (preferably beverages), spanning 8-10 years.
Project management experience is essential.
Excellent communication skills, including expertise in presentations and facilitation.
Proven ability to support and manage interdependencies across various departments.
Strong sales orientation, with an understanding of sales drivers and the relationship between data insights and sales execution.
In-depth knowledge of commercialization principles for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturers, particularly in non-alcoholic beverages or energy drinks within a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with capability to develop engaging presentations using storytelling techniques and impactful visuals.
Experience working with distributors and/or suppliers is required.
Skilled in consulting with third-party distributor partners.
Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and collaborate effectively.
A tactical thinker with strong business acumen.
Adept communication skills, including public speaking and training capabilities.
Solid analytical abilities with experience utilizing both internal and external data sources.
Additional Information:This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - 173,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
