Key Responsibilities:
- Support business development efforts by identifying and qualifying new prospects within the US insurance and software markets.
- Research target companies, map stakeholders and generate leads through outbound activities, networking and online tools.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations and sales materials in collaboration with the senior sales team.
- Manage and nurture initial client relationships, ensuring smooth handover to senior team members when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads and opportunities in the internal systems.
- Support the full sales cycle, from prospecting and first contact to assisting in negotiations and contract closure.
- Collaborate closely with product and delivery teams to understand client needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
- Monitor industry news, competitor activity and trends in the US insurance and software sectors.
- Contribute to strengthening existing client relationships by ensuring regular communication and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Represent the company at selected industry events, conferences, or networking activities to build visibility and connections.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally in the software or technology sector.
- Familiarity with the US insurance or financial services market is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build trust.
- Highly motivated and results-driven, eager to learn and grow within a sales career.
- Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
