Associate Patient Services Specialist at Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/pre- certification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote sacred encounters.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting with proven customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Some college and/or certificate courses.
- Experience in hospital registration or healthcare setting.
- Experience utilizing medical terminology in job setting and a basic understanding of insurance requirements.
- Experience with MEDITECH/A4 system.
