Primary Function

The Escrow Data Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving both current and future reporting needs for the business units. The individual will produce collaborative content for reports, analysis dashboards, and other initiatives. In addition, the Escrow Data Analyst will provide support on statistical methodology and analysis. The individual must be proficient with Excel and SQL.

Principal Duties:

  • Partner with the business unit and/or management team to identify analytic needs and develop end to end process flows.
  • Lead projects from requirement gathering to completion, including monitoring progress to ensure project goals are achieved timely.
  • Utilize SQL as query languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Assist with documentation of reporting, end user processes, and training materials.
  • Contribute to the creation, management, and delivery of reporting to senior management of the timeliness and accuracy of the Loan Administration group.
  • Maintain and update queries as needed to assist with streamlining processes and creating production efficiencies.
  • Become a subject matter expert of escrow data fields, bulk production reporting, and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 2+ years’ data warehousing, analytics, and reporting experience.
  • 1+ years’ residential mortgage loan servicing experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SQL (SSMS and SSRS)
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management capability.
  • High degree of business acumen; strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
