The Senior Manager, Finance will lead the UKR Finance Team, report financial performance, oversee the UK control environment and support ad hoc financial projects.

Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Leader to oversee UK and Ireland financial reporting, compliance and control. This role involves managing a team of up to five qualified and part-qualified accountants, mentoring the CPT Finance Manager, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting. You will take ownership of statutory accounts, VAT compliance, and balance sheet reconciliations, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external auditors.
The successful candidate will also lead on EMEA month-end processes, ensuring the accuracy of data in BPC and timely submission of financial results to Group. You will oversee quarterly, half-year, and full-year reporting, manage the accounting for EHQ (central EMEA cost centre), and support the FP&A team in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
This role also includes responsibility for managing the relationship with the Business Support Centre, oversight of payroll and cash flow, and maintaining a robust control environment across UK operations. You will play a key role in identifying risks and opportunities, supporting ad hoc EMEA finance projects, and deputising for the Finance Director EMEA when required.
About you:
- Qualified Accountant (recognised Accountancy qualification) is essential.
- First time passes, IFRS experience and a minimum of 4 years PQE is highly desirable.
- Previous experience of leading and managing a team of qualified professionals and ensuring high levels of engagement is essential.
- A self-starter who demonstrates ownership of the tasks and objectives of the wider Finance function.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data to give the overall picture whilst checking for accuracy
- Proven ability to prioritise, manage expectations and work to tight deadlines
- Proven leadership and delegation skills.
- Fast learner, able to apply skill set to new scenarios.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Confident with Sage. SAP skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels.
- Ability to clearly explain financial information to both financial and non-financial populations.
- A clear risk focus with previous experience of implementing and reviewing internal controls.
