Summary:

Expense Analyst is primarily responsible for accurate and timely reconciliation of assigned accounts, fulfillment of expense or supplier related reporting requests, and creating and maintaining up to date process documentation.    

Essential Duties and responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Liaison for Overhead National Accounts
  • Ensure timely receipt of invoices
    • Accruals as needed for missing or late bills
  • Work with other departments to ensure all billing requirements are met
  • Ensure communication to internal teams for processing
• Fulfill reporting requests as needed from various systems
  • Fraudulent vendor reports for Loss Prevention
  • Safety shoe purchases for Safety
  • Corporate Tax
    • Tickets and Event
    • Membership and Dues
  • Fleet Repairs
  • Indirect Procurement
  • Field Requests for Supplier or General Ledger information
  • Assist with Travel and Expense reporting as needed

• Account Reconciliation
  • 1400 Prepaid accounts – 11 accounts
  • 2067 Standard Accrual account
  • 1950.501 Utility Deposits
  • 2405 Taxable Auto Allowance
  • Intercompany Accounts – L&W and ABC
  • Standard Accounting Extract/Treasury
• Facility Allocation
  • Monthly entry
  • Annual reconciliation
• Month over Month General Ledger review

As Needed / Projects:         

• Coordinate annual standard accrual updates
• Annual cash confirmation reconciliation
• Create and Maintain Process Documentation
• Assist in testing and documenting new Agility, Onbase, and Concur processes
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Onbase and Agility preferred
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines with varying degrees of pressure
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities with the ability to properly assess pertinent data and develop a framework for effective and practical solutions to complex issues
