POSITION SUMMARY:
The MRP/ Order Entry Specialist is a joint role responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry of customer orders into SAP, while also managing material requirements planning to support production and inventory needs. This position plays a key role in ensuring that MRP and Order Entry to be adequately staffed based on volume and scheduling needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities:
MRP:
- Utilize SAP to evaluate MRP lists and make appropriate planning adjustments.
- Plan and secure raw materials required for production.
- Review and schedule orders for finished goods based on forecasts and demand.
- Ensure material availability for production orders, networks, and forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and range of coverage to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Create and maintain accurate material master data in SAP.
- Execute goods issues with correct assignment and documentation.
Order Entry:
- Enter and process all incoming customer orders and credit return requests in SAP.
- Transfer order-related documents (PDF, Word, Outlook) into SAP accurately.
- Modify and maintain customer sales order data as needed.
- Review order data for deficiencies or errors and correct any incompatibilities.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical order documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.

Required:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient keyboarding skills and data entry skills.
- Inventory control in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent computer knowledge.
- Time management and ability manage workload accordingly.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Professional individual with excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize numerous projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally between departments ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of project.
- Ability to work in a team environment by contributing to the success of the department.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
