Sage Truck Driving School is looking for a Floating School Director to join their team! This position will be located in South Dallas and include heavy travel. We are an employee-owned company with medical and dental insurance and matching 401K plan!
Responsibilities include coaching employees to improve operational metrics, driving results of the assigned location, ensuring that the operations have strong leadership, and are performing efficiently, effectively, and up to standards. The Floating-School Director will help support the hiring and training of School Directors, staff, and instructors. Requires heavy travel across all operational SAGE locations and new locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Complies with all Federal, State, and institutional policies.
• Supports the Regional Director to train, develop, coach and mentor school
directors and other staff as necessary.
• Supports the launch of new SAGE locations by launching the location and
handing it over once deemed adequate by the VP of Operations.
• Ensures that all locations are adhering to Sage Truck Driving Schools (SAGE)
and IEC policies.
• Partners with SAGE leadership to ensure adequate staffing.
• Provides guidance, leadership, and support to campuses to ensure effective
achievement and EBITDA growth.
• Performs regular location audits as assigned by the VP of Operations.
• Acts as a support resource to review and provide input on performance reviews,
and disciplinary actions provided to employees within an assigned location.
• Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to staff within
the assigned location.
• Travel up to 75% but periodically could be more if deemed necessary by the VP
of Operations.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Skillset
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Effective management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS
PowerPoint in particular).
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work successfully
managing multiple campuses.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills; and the ability to analyze performance and
continuous improvement and implementation of best practices.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
