Leadman (New Albany, OH) bei Burns & McDonnell

A Leadman will plan, coordinate, and lead projects from conception to completion. Liaise with supervisor/Foreman/General Foreman to ensure projects are completed to the required standards. Provides leadership to crews in the absence of supervisor.

DUTIES

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide direct oversight in the extraction, process, storage and aggregates at the site
• Will assign daily duties to make sure project meets deadline
• Develop strategies to meet project goals and objectives
• Set deadlines and ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
• Monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed
• Manage site personnel and all lease operators well
• Develop process improvements to increase reliability and performance
• Manage resources and allocate tasks to team members
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Assure that employees have proper PPE, properly trained, have tools and equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and lead a team towards success.
• Ability to learn and practice welding, stick and MIG
• Ability to learn oxy acetylene cutting. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Strong understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
• Experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work in extreme weather conditions hot, humidity & cold
• Work in wet, muddy, and slippery conditions
• Work in cramped quarters/confined space
• Work where noise level is above 89 decibels.
