Job Description:

Are you a growth-driven marketer with a passion for building demand generation engines from the ground up? Do you thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where experimentation, agility, and impact are key? If so, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition for our private market business.

As Director of Demand Generation, you’ll be an individual contributor and strategic executor responsible for designing and executing full-funnel demand generation programs that fuel business growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to build scalable campaigns that attract, engage, and convert high-value prospects.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the marketing foundation of a growing startup, where your creativity, grit, and data-driven mindset will directly influence revenue and market traction.

  • Own the demand generation strategy across all acquisition channels—digital, content, events, partnerships, and more.
  • Build and optimize campaigns that drive qualified leads and accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Develop lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the funnel using email, content, and retargeting.
  • Leverage data and insights to continuously test, learn, and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate closely with sales to align on ICP, messaging, and lead handoff processes.
  • Implement and manage marketing tech stack tools (e.g., Hubspot) to track and measure campaign success.
  • Act as a startup builder—comfortable with ambiguity, resourcefulness, and wearing multiple hats.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5-7+ years of experience in demand generation, with a strong track record of driving growth in startup or SaaS environments.
  • Proven success in building and scaling acquisition programs from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel marketing including paid media, SEO, email, events, and partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills and data fluency—you know how to turn insights into action.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
  • A builder’s mindset—you’re proactive, scrappy, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or related field.
