Permanent contract
- The Smoking Cessation Data Entry Administrator will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing and submitting relevant information onto NHS digital in a timely manner and in accordance with NHS England guidelines.
 - The role includes providing support to the Smoking Cessation Team both in Maternity and Acute Medicine to ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of the data recorded in order to meet the standards expected for reporting to regulatory bodies.
 - The role would involve facilitating accurate data collection from the Smoking Cessation Team and input this data into relevant software ensuring that all data input is done accurately and on time.
 - Support the Smoking Cessation Team with any additional administration tasks such as referrals to Local Stop Smoking Services.
 - Develop regular communication with all relevant organisations and individuals emphasising the benefit of accurate data.
 - To ensure compliance with the Trust policies on data protection, confidentiality and security.

Qualifications:
- NVQ II Business Admin or relevant qualification
 
Experience
- Customer Care experience
 - Experience of working in NHS environment
 - Experience in using NHS Trust clinic systems
 
Desirable;
- Experience of working within NHS outpatient environment
 - Experience with Maternity Badgernet digital system
 
Skills and Knowledge
- The ability to work using own initiative and without supervision.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - Ability to use a personal computer with knowledge of word processing, and Windows applications
 - Customer service background
 - Knowledge of NHS and NHS IT systems
 - Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
 - Time management.
 
Desirable;
- Knowledge of NHS and Hospital depts an advantage
