The Senior Director of Marketing will lead an integrated marketing and engagement function that drives business growth, patient activation, and sustained clinical engagement. This role unites B2B strategy (employer and payer growth) and B2B2C engagement (member communications and behavioral program design) under one strategic umbrella — aligning brand, demand, and outcomes. 

This leader will combine data-driven marketing strategy, brand stewardship, and operational rigor to execute at scale through both internal resources and external vendors. This role will also oversee internal communications and serve as a communications partner to executive leadership, uniting internal and external brand and communications strategy. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

Essential Functions: 

1. Strategic Leadership 

  • Develop and execute overarching integrated B2B and B2B2C marketing strategy aligned with enterprise objectives and revenue targets. 

  • Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Product, Clinical, and Account Management to ensure marketing initiatives drive measurable business impact. 

  • Build and present performance dashboards, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership. 

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans. 

  • Translate behavioral and clinical insights into engagement programs that increase activation and adherence. 

  • Collaborate with executive team on internal and external communications 

  • Develop playbooks around core marketing functions 

  • Scale and develop marketing strategy and team as Vori continues to scale 

2. Brand Strategy & Design Management 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand strategy and unified messaging framework for both internal, partner and member/patient audiences. 

  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints from website and thought leadership to member communications and clinical engagement. 

  • Oversee visual identity, design systems, and collateral development (digital + print). 

  • Lead website strategy, including conversion optimization, and content management. 

  • Drive brand evolution and rebranding initiatives as needed, ensuring market relevance and differentiation. 

3. Growth Marketing & Demand Generation 

  • Design and optimize multi-channel demand generation programs (digital advertising, content marketing, email, webinars, events). 

  • Manage marketing attribution, funnel analytics, and ROI measurement systems. 

  • Lead content and thought leadership creation (white papers, case studies, webinars, etc.) to support both B2B sales and B2B2C engagement. 

4. Marketing Operations & Technology 

  • Oversee the marketing technology stack (automation, analytics, CRM integrations). 

  • Optimize processes for lead tracking, data hygiene, attribution, and campaign measurement. 

  • Partner with Operations and IT to optimize system workflows and reporting. 

  • Drive adoption of best practices, testing, and continuous optimization across channels. 

5. Third-Party Contractor & Agency Management 

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage high value external partners  

  • Coordinate cross-partner projects while maintaining brand and performance consistency. 

6. Team Leadership & People Management 

  • Directly manage a small, high-performing team of specialists in B2B2C, member experience, design, digital, etc., . 

  • Develop role playbooks and performance management  

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and excellence. 

  • Manage and oversee external marketing partners and contractors to ensure high-quality deliverables, brand consistency, and alignment with strategic outcomes. 

Perform Other projects and duties as assigned 

 

Who You Are:  

  • Required: 

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, ideally across both B2B and B2C or B2B2C models. 

  • Deep understanding of consumer engagement strategy and winning models, with emphasis on digital consumer engagement, digital health, or population health . 

  • Proven experience leading marketing that directly impacts revenue and patient engagement. 

  • Demonstrated success with digital campaigns, brand evolution, and patient/consumer engagement programs. 

  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to deploy data driven decision making 

  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing a marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making. 

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaborator with operational discipline. 

  • A hands-on and versatile strategic leader who thrives in fast-moving, mission-driven environments. Solution-oriented cultural ambassador who thrives in fast-paced growth environment 

  • Work authorization/security clearance requirements: 

  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States  

 

  • Physical Requirements/Work Environment: 

  • Remote work environment with some travel required for meetings as needed (~ 10%) 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
