The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is seeking a full time Software Engineer. In this role, you will define mission critical requirements, develop windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self-defense system for the United States and allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java, C++, or Python and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years' Software Development experience
• Familiarity with Automated Test tools and Techniques
• Proficient at working in Java, C++, or Python
• Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired skills
• Experience Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, and Pair Programming)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Experienced with Java, C++, or Python
• Experienced with software models
• Experienced at unit testing
• Experience with Virtual Machines
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or NetBeans
• Familiar with Automation Frameworks such as Robot, Junit, Sikuli
