We have a fantastic new position within the company for a Communications Apprentice to work in our Head Office based in Ipswich, working Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

 

You will work alongside our Communications Officer assisting with and delivering first-rate communications by using the full range of media and information gathering techniques to promote the achievements and capabilities of the company.

 

Main Duties include: 

 

  • To support the group social media channels and website, engaging with new content, planning posts and looking out for opportunities.
  • To research, write up and post Jackson staff good news stories and tales of achievements for the company intranet.
  • Attend visits to work sites, gathering content to be used in case studies, reports, news article, video, images, social media etc.
  • Assist with gathering and organising content for industry award submissions.
  • Manage group image archives.
  • Assist with coordination and organisation of exhibitions/conferences and events as and when required.
  • Preparation of brochures, leaflets and other corporate literature

 

We’re after someone with:

 

We are looking for someone who has a passion for communication, is willing to learn and is a great team player. They will need to be forward thinking, beyond the given task along with having a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. Due to the nature of the role, we need someone who is confident in engaging with people at all levels. 

 

The successful candidate will possess good collaborative communication skills, be organised and have an eye for detail. They will also be conversant with Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Teams.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is required and candidates must be able to commute to the Ipswich office.
