Job description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong IT Infrastructure background to lead and oversee large-scale, cross-functional programs across enterprise infrastructure domains. This role requires deep expertise in Enterprise Compute, Network & Telecom, Cloud Infrastructure, End User Support, Integrated NOC/SOC, Cloud Native Services, ITSM, Information Security, and Service Desk operations. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and align infrastructure capabilities with business goals.
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure programs across multiple domains.
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for:
- Enterprise Compute (servers, storage, virtualization)
- Network & Telecom (LAN/WAN, voice, wireless)
- Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, hybrid environments)
- Platform Services (middleware, databases, container platforms)
- End User Support (desktop, mobility, collaboration tools)
- Integrated NOC/SOC operations
- Cloud Native Services (Kubernetes, microservices, DevOps)
- ITSM (ServiceNow or equivalent)
- Information Security (compliance, risk, identity & access)
- Service Desk (L1/L2 support, ticketing, SLAs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, application, and business stakeholders.
- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and drive the IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead transformation initiatives including cloud migration, data center modernization, and network upgrades, Vulnerability, Patching, IAM, EAM, Compute etc.
- Program Management:
- Oversee multiple infrastructure programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Implement program governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.
- Team & Vendor Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure managers, engineers, and project managers.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Working knowledge in RFP’s.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure services.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in infrastructure operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business units, application teams, and senior leadership to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Communicate program status, risks, and benefits to executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a program or portfolio leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Insurance, finance, healthcare) is advantageous.
