Role: Machine Learning Engineer Intern
As an ML Engineer Intern, you will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying intelligent systems that leverage data and AI to solve real-world problems. This role offers hands-on experience in building scalable solutions, integrating machine learning models into applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and deploying ML models for various business use cases.
Work with data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms to enable model integration.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure seamless implementation.
Support performance monitoring, model evaluation, and optimization.
Learn and apply best practices in secure coding, version control, and CI/CD processes.
Core Skills & Knowledge
Strong programming fundamentals in Python (experience with frameworks like FastAPI is a plus).
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, algorithms, and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and services like EC2, S3, Lambda.
Exposure to REST APIs and database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of GitHub and branching strategies; experience with CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
Interest in Generative AI and classical AI/ML applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
Familiarity with Agile development practices.
Basic understanding of statistics, probability, and ML algorithms.
