JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

LOCATION: Irving, TX, and telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US

DUTIES: Provide data analysis and data engineering and development using data lake infrastructure, data warehousing, and data analytics tools. Perform cloud data engineering on Azure. Use Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Machine Learning, as well as SQL, Python and PySpark. Optimize SQL queries and performance tune data pipelines. Build and operate highly available, distributed data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and extraction. Integrate multi-cloud services with on-premises technologies. Use data modeling processes. Solve complex data problems, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions. Use Databricks, and responsible for data virtualization and directed acyclic graph development.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in data engineering and development, data analysis, data virtualization, SQL and PL/SQL. Experience therein to include 2 years of experience in Python, PySpark, Azure, Databricks, and directed acyclic graph development. Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.
