This posting is open exclusively to candidates participating in the Virginia Tech School of Architecture’s W_Internship program.

What You’ll Do: 

• Support a wide range of design projects, working closely with our experienced team.
• Contribute to the creation of construction documents.
• Assist with renderings and visual presentations.
• Conduct research that directly influences design decisions.
• Collaborate on developing design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, serviceability, and client specifications.
• Prepare working drawings based on sketches and design inputs.
• Participate in project design meetings, gaining insight into how multi-disciplinary teams work together.
• Attend client meetings and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the architecture team.

Education and Experience:

• Educational Background: Enrolled as a third-year student at Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture
• Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office Suite
