Position:   Vice President, Multifamily Systems 

Location: Hybrid at our Main Office in Baltimore, or Remote option available - ideally, in/near our multifamily portfolio (EST time zone preferred, or CST considered)

Reports To:   Executive Vice President, Multifamily

Compensation:  Competitive annual base salary (commensurate with exp) + bonus potential + Health/Dental/Vision/401k


Position Summary:

The VP of Multifamily Systems will lead the strategic transformation of CRC’s technology platform, overseeing systems integration, data architecture, and operational technology across a 10,000-unit multifamily portfolio with ability to grow and expand the platform. This executive will be responsible for building a scalable, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure that supports leasing, maintenance, marketing, compliance, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Architect and execute multi-phase systems rebuild aligned with CRC’s growth and operational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives including the implementation of Blue Moon lease agreements, Elise AI, and Mobile Maintenance platforms, and beyond.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for all systems-related pilots, rollouts, and vendor partnerships included but not limited to training impacting multifamily operations.

Technology & Systems Oversight

  • Own the full lifecycle of property management systems (Yardi-Multifamily Integrations & Help Desk- Elise AI, Happy CO and all other Multifamily tools/products etc.). Rolling out new functionality and modules within Yardi that service multifamily operations. 
  • Oversee integration of CRM, leasing, maintenance, and financial tools into a unified platform.
  • Ensure data integrity, set-up, security, and accessibility across all systems.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing multifamily systems and team
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development, Marketing, and Operations to align systems with training, compliance, and customer experience goals.
  • Partner with IT and Risk Management to vet and implement fraud prevention, insurance, and incident reporting tools.

Innovation & Optimization

  • Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and resident experience.
  • Standardize pilot processes with clear success metrics and feedback loops.
  • Drive automation and reduce manual processes across multifamily budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Serving as the voice for multifamily technology implementation and alignment for multifamily across the broader CRC tech stack. 

Qualifications:

  • 10-20 years of experience in multifamily property management systems or related technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level system implementations and integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of Yardi, Blue Moon, Marketing Tools (for Integration), and AI-driven leasing tools.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily operations, compliance, and customer service.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills a must.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with mobile maintenance platforms (e.g., Sight Plan, Leo247, Yardi Maintenance Mobile).
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention tools (Snappt, IDV, Approve Shield).
  • Background in data analytics and reporting platforms (Domo, AIRM, Yardi BI).
  • Exposure to e-learning platforms (Aspire, Gracehill) and CRM integrations.
