IT Data Information Specialist (anticipated) bei Ocean City School District

The Ocean City School District is accepting applications for the following position:

Data Information Specialist (anticipated)

Location: District 

Effective Date: December 1, 2025

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
• At least 3+ years of data management and analytics experience, preferably in a K-12 school environment
• Experience with federal, state and county educational reports
• Knowledge of database structure and design and expertise with data mining tools
• Ability to maintain a complex student information system and recognize data anomalies
• Possess critical analytical skills necessary to work independently, problem solve and translates quantitative findings into practical data reports
• Ability to articulate information to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Possess the organizational and time management skills necessary to effectively manage concurrent projects, parallel tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to read, comprehend and apply technical manuals and stay current on technology and trends
• High level of confidentiality, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to accept responsibility and to cooperate with school personnel
• New Jersey Criminal History background approval, HIB training and proof of New Jersey residency required by all successful applicants
