Low Voltage Technician bei Leon Management International, LLC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs voice, data, TV, Coax and other cabling.
• Terminates wires.
• Installs J-Hooks and other organizational hardware.
• Installs data equipment including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, etc.
• Tests all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment and in accordance with established procedures.
• Performs major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues.
• Identifies, tracks and removes abandoned cables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent employer in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company for which they work.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least two (2) years of experience with various cables including but not limited to: coax, twisted pair, Category 5-7, single and multi-mode fiber optic cables.
• IDF/MDF, rack install, fiber termination and testing experience.
• At least Two (2) years Low Voltage installation experience.
• Basic networking and wireless network experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
