is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both
onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 3-5 days per week, and the
rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

Summary of Role
The Field Support Representative is accountable for supporting Field Operation’s office needs essential to all pools member-owner relations. This role collaborates cross-departmentally on a daily basis. This team stewards CROPP’s message, membership policy and farmer data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Insert prospective members into INFOR system.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective member inquiries and route them to the appropriate Field Support Specialist and Regional Pool Manager (RPM) for review and membership consideration.
- Prepare and distribute all pools Farmer Update Notices to ensure consistent records with external partners and internal departments.
- Serve as the main note taker and action item tracker to support the achievement of Field Operation’s strategic goals.
- Insert and maintain accurate farm account data within INFOR system.
- Mitigate risk by electronically scanning and filing Contractual Patron Agreements.
- Support Patron Membership Agreement administrative activities and processes.
- Provide essential support for producer-facing initiatives and programs.
- Adhere to cooperative critical data governance guidelines.
- Follow processes that result in consistency and equitability.
- Monitor adherence of our animal care program through reviewing animal care audits and remediations.
- Information maintenance for National Field Staff (DPMs & RPMs) work plan requirements.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent Organic Valley at regional farmer events as requested and approved.
- Handle confidential information with discretion. Other duties and projects as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Associates degree in agriculture, business or commensurate experience is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of office experience required, preferably in an agricultural setting.
- Practical dairy and livestock experience preferred.
- Knowledge of organic production systems and organic certification standards and requirements.
- Ability to promote cooperative values.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet team deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and data accuracy.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Team-oriented mindset with interpersonal skills.

Base hourly wage range: $19.05 - $23.10 per hour
This hourly wage range
is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include
incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If
you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined
based on factors such as skills, education, and/or
experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and
consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final
offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should
expect to be at the lower end of the hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage range
is not typical.
