Qualifications
The Executive Housekeeper has responsibility for overall housekeeping operations and ensures the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas. Uses leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profit and ensure quality. Effective management of assigned staff to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest satisfaction and positive team member relations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department to ensure a high degree of hotel cleanliness.
- Organize day-to-day work requirements and set required standards against which work will be checked, in accordance with correct procedures.
- Ensure that all equipment, furniture and furnishings are maintained, checked and kept in good working order.
- Responsible for ensuring linens are cleaned and kept in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure that special requests from guests are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Work with relative departments to ensure that guest expectations are consistently met and where possible, exceeded.
- Responsible for linen and cleaning supply inventory ordering and maintaining.
- Responsible for performance management and training for housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
