General Sales Manager 

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both high-end sales and automotive sales, with a proven track record of managing sales pipelines and driving revenue. As a General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, fostering client relationships, and mentoring your team to ensure exceptional performance.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.

  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-up and customer engagement.

  • Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling and networking to generate new business opportunities.

  • Review and pencil contracts with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, enhancing their skills in upselling, customer service, and public speaking.

  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage inventory control, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments to align on goals and strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management with a focus on high-end sales environments and automotive sales.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

  • Proficient in CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales progress.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.

  • Ability to engage in public speaking and present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
