Factory Store Manager

WeatherTech Direct, LLC is seeking a well-qualified Factory Store Manager to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in the Factory Store by providing exceptional customer service and by supporting, guiding, and monitoring Showroom (Factory Store/Stockroom/Custodial staff) employees and services.  This position requires a passion for process excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to lead and influence.

As a Factory Store Manager, you will

• Ensure a positive, memorable experience is delivered to each customer visiting the Factory Store
• Manage the daily activities of the store to ensure its efficient, profitable, and customer-oriented sales operation
• Work a full-time, varied schedule consisting of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the retail industry
• Ensure all selling standards and expectations are being met through strong sales leadership
• Provide premium customer service by assisting customers with questions or concerns in person, over the phone, or through email
• Resolve escalated customer service situations
• Prioritize work into short term and long-term plans and ensure follow through
• Process customer orders, exchanges, and returns according to established department policies and procedures
• Approve monthly staffing schedules and rotations, ensuring adequate management and staffing levels are maintained
• Assign and monitor daily tasks to store and stockroom staff; provide ongoing support; provide continual training in new products, product installation, and safety procedures
• Perform store opening, closing, and cash drawer reconciliation
• Ensure all safety and company procedure documents are up to date and accessible to staff
• Maintain/update company ISO compliance standards for Factory Store and Stockroom when business processes and procedures are altered
• Monitor and report on Factory Store sales and phone usage statistics; monitor team sales statistics and communicate progress in achieving goals/meeting expectations to individual employees
• Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 years prior management or supervisory experience in a high-end retail sales environment, with a passion for product and retail
• Retail experience must include advanced retail management practices:  front end and back-end operations, merchandising, sales leadership, and people management
• Must have open availability during Factory Store hours of operation 
• A high school diploma or equivalent 
• Be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with customers as well as other departments within the company
• A highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate strong conflict management and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve various customer matters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Authorized to work in the United States
