Applications Engineer Intern bei Flowserve

Flowserve Corporation, a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow management products and services, has an exciting opportunity for a Applications Engineer Intern. The position is located in Taneytown, Maryland and will provide exposure to all facets of the organization emphasizing on capital projects in support of engineering contractors and major municipalities across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of technical tasks of limited scope.
• Under direct supervision, interpret customer requirements and process conditions to identify engineered solutions and pump recommendations for optimal hydraulic performance in water/wastewater processing applications.
• Review inquiry documents and collaborate with multiple disciplines to assist in preparing proposals for original equipment and duplicate pumps.
• Participate in other general duties including the processing of contracts and transfer of project commitments to operations.

Requirements:

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of school completed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Candidates must be available to work during the summer term, from May through August 2026 (estimated 12-week duration)

Skills:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Possess basic mechanical aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills

The pay range for this position is $19.28 - 23.14 USD Hourly
