A Manager on the Membership Development team plays a critical role in the execution and development of the World 50s growth expectations. This role manages all aspects of running an efficient and effective sales team.
The main responsibility of the Manager is to ensure the World 50 communities continue to grow with the highest quality members. With a focus on ensuring their team are achieving their sales meeting target with high-quality sales calls. While also ensuring their team are effectively managing the pipeline that is generated from their sales meetings.
Commercial impact
- Complete ownership of the commercial deliverables
- Manage and analyze all sales data/metrics in order to achieve new member goals and drive efficiencies throughout the sales process
- Prepare and present all sales data/metrics for management and board of directors
- Lead forecasting efforts for team, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis
- Develop targeted campaigns to strategically drive new business in new markets, regions and industries
- Ensure all top of funnel activity is focussed on driving high quality meetings
- Build strong and impactful relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Proactively driving improvement at the individual and collective level for the Sales team
- Developing best in class sales processes
People Management
- Implementing and managing support tools, training programs, productivity initiatives and account methodologies to impact the performance of the sales team
- Recruits, hires and develops sales associates, utilizing company human resources guidelines and support resources.
- Coach and manage performance so all individuals have the greatest overall impact on new business results
- Identifies deficiencies in skills among sales associates managed, and works to improve individuals’ capabilities through coaching, development and training
