The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated EHS Specialist who brings enthusiasm and energy to the table. In this position, you’ll play a role in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:
· Respond to industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases on shop floor. |
· Evaluate machinery, equipment and their usage for safety and related risk. |
· Maintain the record keeping and documentation for training programs related to safety. |
· Organize and support Associate Safety Committee meetings. |
· Maintain and deliver Safety Dojo training. |
· Conduct training in areas such as safety procedures, laws and regulations, and the use of safety equipment – i.e. Powered Industrial Vehicles, LOTO, Respiratory, New Hire Orientation. |
· Inspects and audits facilities for potential environmental or safety concerns including industrial hygiene and report findings to management. |
· Assist in testing of air quality, noise, and temperature levels to verify compliance with health and safety regulations. · Assist in annual and baseline hearing testing. · Conduct and follow up of Risk Assessments. · Manage Early Symptom Intervention (ESI) program and schedule. |
· May be responsible for safe handling and proper disposal of hazardous materials or bio-waste. · Work with medical providers to set up and follow up on hearing and respiratory medical testing. |
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic business software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to train and deliver training to diverse groups.

- This is an in-person role located at our Muscatine, IA office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $24.50 - $31.42 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
