Who You’ll Work With

The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles. 

About The Role

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect who will lead the definition, design, implementation and rollout of the enterprise Digital Servicing Platform, that will serve all channels including end-customers, agents and advisors, contact center, and web, mobile, API. chat etc. This platform will be built on Salesforce and will leverage Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce, among other products and services, and will leverage AI extensively to build an industry leading servicing platform, to provide best-in-class customer experience for our employees, agents and customers

Responsibilities

Architecture & Design: 

  • Define the end-to-end Salesforce architecture across FSC, Experience Cloud, and related technologies. 
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise security, integration, and data governance standards. 
  • Architect and guide implementation of complex insurance/financial workflows, policy servicing, claims management, and customer engagement portals. 

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and IT leadership on Salesforce roadmap and best practices. 
  • Mentor Salesforce developers, admins, and functional consultants to uplift the team’s technical depth. 

Delivery & Innovation:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Salesforce implementations, ensuring quality, performance, and adoption. 
  • Drive innovation by leveraging Data Cloud for unified customer insights and exploring Agentforce for intelligent service automation. 
  • Provide thought leadership on Salesforce releases and ecosystem trends. 

Competencies: 

  • Business / Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates an understanding of the financial services industry, Retirement services, Life and Annuities business. 
  • Technical Acumen: Strong foundation in practical application of technology with a software engineering bias. Proven track record of identifying trends, staying current with skills and helping build an engineering-oriented culture.  Good knowledge of APIs, Microservices, Messaging Systems and proficiency with Cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.  Knowledge of Application and Infrastructure security best practices.   
  • Strategic Positioning:  Helps define business strategy by understanding what’s possible with technology and identifies solutions that support enterprise strategy, impact critical business outcomes, and drive organizational success through the evaluation of internal and external business contexts.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Salesforce enterprise architecture or senior technical leadership roles 
  • Proven experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud in enterprise implementation setting 
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, sharing, and large-scale integration (MuleSoft, Data Cloud, APIs, middleware) 
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations in insurance or financial services 
  • Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect certifications strongly preferred 
  • Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce experience is a plus 
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments, with a strong ability to solve complex problems and a proactive, analytical mindset 
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to a variety of audiences 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000 to $180,000 at the commencement of employment for the Jersey City, NJ and Woodland Hills, CA area.  Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX, Woodland Hills, CA, or Jersey City, NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
