Senior Agile Scrum Project Manager bei First Legal

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agile Scrum Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products using Agile Scrum methodologies. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Job Duties:

• Guide and support Scrum teams in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and ensure that projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate Agile teams to achieve project success. Foster a collaborative, self-organizing environment to drive high-performance teams.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, and senior leadership, to ensure that project goals, priorities, and expectations are aligned.
• Identify potential risks and issues early on and proactively take measures to mitigate them. Escalate issues as necessary to senior management and work on resolution strategies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to embrace Agile principles and Scrum best practices. Regularly assess and implement improvements to team processes and project outcomes.
• Provide regular project status reports, timelines, and deliverable updates to stakeholders. Ensure all project documentation is up to date, organized, and easily accessible.
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and ensure that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Ensure that quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle, including regular testing, code reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, quality assurance, and design teams to ensure smooth delivery of software products.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field plus 7 years of work experience is required. PMP, Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing software development projects, with at least 3 years in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful software projects
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• Experience working in software development environments, ideally in SaaS, web, or mobile application projects.
• Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict resolution effectively.
• Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and/or Agile Project Management (PMI-ACP) certifications are a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.

• Schedule - Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
