Public Health | College AdministrationThe Director of Recruitment and Admissions provides leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for all matters related to recruitment and admission for undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Public Health. Primary responsibilities include prospect communication, application evaluation, organizing and conducting monthly information sessions/program presentations, representing the College at graduate and undergraduate school fairs, and yield management. Works closely with the College leadership and faculty to achieve enrollment goals through planning and coordination. Utilizes marketing, enrollment management, and recruitment best practices to meet the enrollment objectives of the college. Occasional evening and weekend work and overnight travel is required. This position supervises a small team of admissions and recruitment staff members.

Location: This position can be completed in a hybrid format: 60% on-campus and 40% remote.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
- 5 years’ experience working in higher education, recruitment, sales, or a related area.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team-based work environment.
- Demonstrated successful staff leadership in previous positions.
- Ability to work with faculty, staff, students.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of University and Graduate School policies, systems and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and public relations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and work well independently and collaboratively.
- Supervisory experience of professional staff.
Desired Education:
- Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, or leadership.
Desired Experience:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in recruiting and admissions in an academic setting.
- Fluency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Peoplesoft, Salesforce, MailChimp, and Blackthorn.
- Web development skills and the ability to use social media to maintain communication with prospective students.
Pay Range: $64,900- $84,850
Salary will be based off of education, experience, internal equity, and budget allowance.
