JOB TITLE: SR IT Analyst – Enterprise Systems

POSITION SUMMARY:
We have an immediate need for a direct hire ETL Developer to join our client, a national chain of convenience stores and gas stations. The Sr. IT Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing ETL data pipelines. With a focus on Azure and SQL, the ideal candidate will possess experience in building efficient ETL processes and may also contribute to the conversion of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, quality, and pipeline performance.
- Document ETL processes, workflows, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Contribute to the migration of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration technologies.
EXPERIENCE:
Proficiency in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
Demonstrated experience in designing and building ETL data pipelines from diverse data sources.
Proficient in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and integration with cloud-based data platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.

- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products.
- Extensive knowledge of PDI Systems and supporting systems.
- Extensive experience with EDI data and communications
- Extensive experience with core software applications.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate computer keyboard for data entry.
- Ability to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
- Some travel will be required.
