Description
Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Magnolia Breast Center. This position plays an essential role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their breast health journey. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and passionate about contributing to a team that provides excellence in women’s healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and confidentiality.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and relevant health information.
- Assist providers during breast exams, procedures, and minor office interventions.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient daily operations within the Breast Center.
- Manage scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments as directed by providers.
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas—stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Assist with patient education, instructions, and care coordination.
- Accurately document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and assist with imaging orders and test results as needed.
- Support the Nurse Navigator and front office staff to ensure a seamless and compassionate patient experience.
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of certification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting (experience in women’s health, imaging, or oncology a plus).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and clinical workflow.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
