· Provide hands on support for the achievement of overall plant KPI goals, including production yield, throughput, and cycle time.
· Assist maintenance team members in troubleshooting pneumatic systems, electrical circuits, robots, and vision systems using both a hands-on approach and on call support.
· Provide labor studies and data driven decision making for line balancing activities.
· Familiarity with problem solving methodologies 8D, 5 Why, an A3 to assist in root cause analysis and problem solving of major breakdowns.
· Read and create mechanical drawing on SolidWorks or Inventor.
· Maintain PLC program documentation at the point of use.
· Maintain printed drawings, schematics, etc. at the point of use.
· Add new functions to existing equipment including, but not limited to, installing, wiring, and necessary PLC programming for new I/O devices.
· Provide hands-on programming/debugging/troubleshooting of numerous types of automation equipment.
· Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to ensure matters of mutual concern are addressed and resolved.
· Drive a safety-first work environment for all employees in the Lexington facility.
· Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
· Other duties assigned by Manager.
