About the Department
This position monitors faculty teaching effort and creates and manages quarterly compensation contracts for adjunct and full-time faculty moonlight contracts. This position plays a key role in monitoring faculty teaching loads for compliance with OC policy and AHE CBA. The position monitors faculty schedule and pay data in ctcLink, keeps up to date with division changes, and ensures Faculty Workload interprets data from the class schedule correctly to calculate and generate at least seven distinct types of contracts.
Position Duties
- Work with ISS and divisions to ensure proper information in class scheduling to ensure the calculation of contracts will be accurate.
- Identify errors in class scheduling and work with divisions and ISS to correct errors.
- Assist with the verification of job data being accurate, such as assignment types and combo codes, have been updated correctly.
- Work with divisions and ABO office to ensure proper assignment types and combo codes are assigned to paylines.
- Make necessary changes in FWL to ensure the proper number of payments are calculating properly.
- Make necessary changes in FWL to ensure payments are calculated correctly.
- Run queries and validate contract data for accuracy.
- Check payroll tickets to make necessary changes to current contracts
- Recalculate contracts when changes have been made and verify the changes.
- Verify all contracts have been approved and are ready to be sent to payroll.
- Run queries to identify negative paylines or contracts that have been rescinded and not regenerated.
- Notify Payroll Manager of any negative paylines that would need to be send to payroll before sending all payments to payroll.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience working in a higher education evniorment,
- Working a high-paced, confidential environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of Faculty Contracts

This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work 40 hours a week, with a salary range of $56,880 - $76,608 annually. All classified positions will start their salary at Step A, when you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Association (WPEA) Union. Classified positions qualify for the following benefits:
