As an integral part of e360’s growing cyber division, you will be able to shape the direction of our cyber risk business and explore innovative approaches and technologies for managing risks. This position is with a large California State Agency acting as their contracted Deputy CISO, reporting to the Agency CISO. Primary tasks will include writing and updating cybersecurity policy, coordinating various audits and assessments, and assisting the CISO with day to day cybersecurity management activities.



The Work You Will Perform For our Clients



· Draft and update a full portfolio of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.

· Oversee annual cybersecurity audits.

· Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on budget, and exceed expectations.



The Work You Will Perform For our Business



· Consistently deliver engagements against established schedules and budgets, coordinating with our team and delivery partners 

· Provide outstanding support and continuously improve our Cybersecurity Consulting services.

· Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate the applicability of new rules, standards, and regulations for our clients.

Requirements

  



Mandatory Requirements


· Minimum 10 years in information security, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a government or regulated environment.

· Livescan Background check required.

· Familiarity with one or more of the following: MARS-E, IRS 1075, NIST 800-53, Arc-AMPE

· Self-directed with the ability to identify and solve complex cybersecurity business problems.

· Strong business writing ability to include the following formats: email, white paper, solution brief, and presentations.

· Demonstrated understanding of what it means to draw out customer needs and deliver practical outcomes addressing those needs.

· High ethical standards and commitment to public service.



Desired Qualifications


The most competitive candidates should have a combination of these skills but are not required to have all of them.

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology or security or business with an emphasis on technology and/or security.

· CISSP and/or other related certifications are desired by our client.

· Physically located in Sacramento, or Norther California is highly desirable.
