Job Title: Junior Cybersecurity & Access Control Specialist 

Location: New York, NY - On-Site 

Salary: $50-70K base 

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity & Access Control Specialist to oversee user access, permissions, and account hygiene across our company’s key digital platforms. This role ensures the right people have the right access at the right time, helping maintain operational efficiency and platform security across departments. Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage user accounts across platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Asana, and others. 
• Perform regular user audits to identify inactive or improperly permissioned accounts. 
• Revoke or adjust access and permissions based on audit findings and policy updates. 
• Oversee and restructure access to our social media platforms. 
• Coordinate with IT, Legal, Operations, and Content teams to ensure consistent access governance across tools. 
• Support brand safety efforts by managing a team of moderators that moderate comments, managing platform reviews, and flagging content that could pose reputational risk. 
• Document processes and maintain internal access control guides. 

Requirements: 

• Familiarity with major workplace platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Facebook Business Manager, etc.). 
• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Basic understanding of access controls and user role management. 
• Comfort with spreadsheets, checklists, and user permission tracking tools. 
• Trustworthy with sensitive account access and security information
