The Marketing & Communications Coordinator (MCC) drives visibility, engagement, and growth through dynamic marketing, communications, and creative strategies. This is a shared role supporting two organizations — VNA and Central Coast Senior Services — to advance their missions and strengthen community awareness.   The MCC manages digital and print communications, oversees social media and website content, coordinates advertising, and ensures brand consistency across all materials. This role blends creativity with strategy to deliver meaningful messages that inspire, inform, and connect with the community.

Status: Full-Time (non-exempt)

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, production, and distribution of all outward-facing materials, including mail appeals, annual reports, advertisements, websites, event invitations, brochures, data cards, flyers, newsletters, and job postings.
  • Manage and maintain both organizations’ websites to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and visually appealing.
  • Develop and execute engaging social media strategies across multiple platforms to boost visibility, engagement, and brand loyalty.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advertising, printing, media vendors, and graphic design partners.
  • Plan, launch, and evaluate marketing and communications campaigns — from concept through execution.
  • Participate in and provide day-of support for events, ensuring strong branding and communications presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance visibility of agency initiatives, services, and mission.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of marketing, communications, or design experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Experience managing social media and websites (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities; can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and reporting tools a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
