Retail Accounting Analyst, HS3, Retail Accounting - Lakeland bei Publix

• reviewing inventory documents received via Publix Connection, fax, and provided by the inventory service who counts much of the inventory
• performing audits on sub-department voucher expenses and retail/cost items to ensure proper recording to Publix’s financial statements
• providing subject matter expertise and support to Retail Operations and Retail Leadership regarding bonuses and P&L reporting
• ensuring that donation forms are properly received and accurately accounted for in preparation for potential tax saving benefits

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline
• 3 years’ experience in retail environment
• knowledge of (Quality Improvement Process) QIP improvement methodology
• knowledge of P&L Accounting
• knowledge of the different retail departments and sub-departments
• intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications
• basic skills in Host on Demand & Store Accounting
