ATI Advisory is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our growing Medicaid and state policy team. This role will focus on ATI’s work with state Medicaid agencies, foundations, and other clients to develop and implement innovative solutions across Medicaid delivery systems. We are seeking someone with consulting experience and a strong foundation in Medicaid policy fundamentals and real-world project work involving initiatives like Section 1115 demonstrations, 1915 waivers, managed care, payment and reimbursement models, and other Medicaid operations.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with senior leaders to drive high-quality project work for state Medicaid agencies and other Medicaid-aligned clients.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Medicaid policy and operational principles to project work, including those related to Medicaid market intelligence, Medicaid authorities, delivery systems, payment and financing strategies, and program implementation.
- Conduct Medicaid policy research, assess state program environments, and develop practical recommendations for policy design and implementation.
- Create polished, client-ready deliverables—compelling PowerPoint presentations, memos, reports, policy briefs, and others—with clarity, precision, and insight.
- Manage timelines, track deliverables, coordinate team inputs, and uphold project standards for quality and value.
- Participate in client meetings, present findings, respond to evolving needs, and help drive client decision-making.
- Contribute to ATI’s thought leadership, including external publications, presentations, and commentary on policy and market trends.
What We’re Looking For
- College degree (graduate degree preferred) in public policy, public health, public administration, business, or other related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, with strong preference for experience in a consulting firm environment working directly on Medicaid-related projects.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of fundamental Medicaid concepts.
- Strong research and analysis skills, with the ability to translate policy guidance, state Medicaid policy documents, and other relevant sources into actionable information.
- Polished writing and slide development skills to create clean, clear, high-impact materials and reports.
- Experience managing complex, fast-moving tasks and contributing to the success of multi-disciplinary project teams.
- High initiative and professional maturity, with a strong sense of ownership.
